All Luminox watches are Swiss made. Luminox watches is famous for its illumination system. Luminox watches utilize a special type of self-powered illumination system called Luminox Light Technology (LLT). The technology calls for the use of tiny self-powered micro gas light capsules. These capsules are individually installed on the hands, markers, and/or the bezel of every Luminox watch. Unlike conventional illumination technology, these micro gas lights do not need to be charged and typically glows longer and brighter.
Luminox Navy SEAL watches are supplied to the U.S. Navy SEAL teams. They also meet military qualifications of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces (MIL Spec # W-4637 4F).
